Email List Cleanup
Last Updated on February 20, 2021 by Rocklyn Clarke
Hi Folks!
Every year we clean up our mailing lists.
The Life Church Congregation List was established for people who attend and/or support Life Church on a regular basis. It allows us to exchange church news, announcements, and prayer requests, as well as job opportunities, and other generally useful information. If you’re reading this email, you’re on the list!
Although at present, we don’t make a big deal about formal membership in Life Church, we do review our mailing lists regularly to add new people, and periodically to remove people who are no longer fellowshipping with us. This includes the Congregation List along with the Men’s Fellowship, Women’s Fellowship, Couples Fellowship, and various ministry team lists.
We believe strongly that you should be a member of one congregation at a time. We recognize that from time to time people (e.g. new arrivals, engaged couples, etc.) will regularly visit multiple congregations while deciding where the Lord is calling them to serve, but eventually you need to make a choice. Our Congregation list is intended for people who have chosen Life Church.
For those who attend Life Church regularly: No Action Required
This cleanup will have no direct impact on you!
For those who have difficulty with Zoom meetings, but still reach out to us regularly: No Action Required
This cleanup will have no direct impact on you!
For those who have not been to Sunday service in a while: Action Required
If we haven’t seen you at Sunday service for several months, it’s important to be honest about what’s going on.
First of all – No hard feelings! You need to be wherever God has called you and there are many congregations in the Greater Boston Area where you can serve God and his Kingdom. If we don’t hear from you that you are actively committing yourself to Life Church, we will be removing your email address from our mailing lists within the next 30 days. This means that you will no longer be receiving our various weekly sermon and meeting announcements.
God Bless You!
