the same God works all of them in all men. (1 Corinthians 12: 4-6, NIV)
Sound for Sunday service doesn't just happen — it takes teamwork — from
setting up and testing the sound equipment, to running the sound board and recording
the sermon, to tearing down and stowing the gear. You are welcomed to join one
or more of the audio crews.
Pre-Service Crew Responsibilities & Requirements
Arrive at church, when serving, no later than 8:45 a.m.
Able to easily lift 20-pounds.
Set up microphones, monitors, and lots of cables in a systematic manner.
Sound Board Crew Responsibilities & Requirements
Arrive at church, when serving, no later than 8:45 a.m.
Familiarity with a sound board and audio equipment is helpful, but not required;
a willingness to learn is required.
Ability to handle stressful situations is handy.
Post-Service Crew Responsibilities & Requirements
Can stay at least 1/2 hour after service ends (service usually ends around 12 noon).
Able to easily lift 20-pounds.
Stow equipment, which includes a lot of cables, in an organized manner.
