This 1st message in our series on Romans 8 - 16 covered Romans 8:18 - 39. Pastor Rocklyn began with a review of our earlier series on Romans 1:1 - 8:17 and then went on to discuss Paul's teaching in Romans 8:18-27 that the universe groans, we groan, and the Holy Spirit groans on our behalf. Furthermore, Romans 8:28-39 gives us a promise that God's "got us" and won't let us go. It is important to remember however that we must be led by God's Spirit in order to meet the conditions of the promise.
